3 Signs that you’re heading For Financial Trouble

IFA Compare Admin

Keeping your finances on track is not always easy, especially in recent times. Many people are struggling to meet all of their financial commitments and many are failing.

Unfortunately, once you find yourself in financial difficulty it can be extremely difficult to regain control and by the time you find yourself in a position to regain control, the damage to your credit rating can be severe

Sadly many people think they are in control of their finances and only realise how wrong they are once it’s already too late. Are you one of those people?

Take a look at the 3 warning signs that might show you’re heading for financial trouble...

Sign 1: Payday Blues

If your payday comes and the vast majority of your money goes before you have even had a chance to check your Bank balance, it’s a sure fire sign that something is very wrong. When your financial commitments are swallowing the vast majority of your income it’s time to make some changes because it’s likely that your finances over-stretched.

Sign 2: Financial Blindside

If you can’t list the Direct Debits/Standing Orders that are taken from your Bank Account on a monthly basis along with the usual cost of each without looking at your Bank Statements then it’s likely that you are not in control of your money. If the reason you can’t list them is because there are so many, the chances are that you need to take a good luck at your finances.

Sign 3: Saving Grace

If you find that you regularly use your savings to meet your everyday costs or if you are setting money aside for savings every month only to spend it by the end of the month, something is amiss

It is easy to get into a bad financial pattern without even realising it, but if any of the above signs are true of your finances, then it may be time to take action before you get into financial difficulty
